"Are you Jesus ? "

A few years ago a group of salesmen went to a regional sales convention in Chicago. They had assured their wives that they would be home in plenty of time for Friday night's dinner.

In their rush, with tickets and brief-cases, one of these salesmen inadvertently kicked over a table which held a display of baskets of apples. Apples flew everywhere. Without stopping or looking back, they all managed to reach the plane in time for their nearly missed boarding.

All but one. He paused, took a deep breath, got in touch with his feelings, and experienced a twinge of compassion for the girl whose apple stand had been overturned.

He told his buddies to go on without him, waved goodbye, told one of them to call his wife when they arrived at their home destination and explain his taking a later flight. Then he returned to the terminal where the apples were all over the terminal floor.

He was glad he did.

The 16 year old girl was totally blind! She was softly crying, tears running down her cheeks in frustration, and at the same time helplessly groping for her spilled produce as the crowd swirled about her, no one stopping, and no one to care for her plight.

The salesman knelt on the floor with her, gathered up the apples, put them into the baskets, and helped set the display up once more. As he did this, he noticed that many of them had become battered and bruised; these he set aside in another basket.

When he had finished, he pulled out his wallet and said to the girl, "Here, please take this $20 for the damage we did. Are you okay?"

She nodded through her tears. He continued on with, "I hope we didn't spoil your day too badly."

As the salesman started to walk away, the bewildered blind girl called out to him, "Mister...." He paused and turned to look back into those blind eyes.

She continued, "Are you Jesus?"

He stopped in mid-stride, and he wondered. Then slowly he made his way to catch the later flight with that question burning and bouncing about in his soul: "Are you Jesus?"

Do people mistake you for Jesus?

That's our destiny, is it not? To be so much like Jesus that people cannot tell the difference as we live and interact with a world that is blind to His love, life and grace.

If we claim to know Him, we should live, walk and act as He would. Knowing Him is more than simply quoting Scripture and going to church. It's actually living the Word as life unfolds day to day.

You are the apple of His eye even though we, too, have been bruised by a fall.

He stopped what He was doing and picked you and me up on a hill called Calvary and paid in full for our damaged fruit.

Speak to Your Mountains

Scripture:

“And Jesus answered them, Truly I say to you, if you have faith (a firm relying trust) and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it will be done” (Matthew 21:21, AMP)

Maybe you received a bad medical report, or maybe you’re facing a financial obstacle. But the more you talk about something, the bigger it becomes in your mind. Remember, even if you don’t see how things could ever work out, God does. You’ve got to speak to those mountains in your life and declare favor over those situations. Instead of talking to God about how big your problems are, talk to your problems about how big your God is! As you speak to your mountains, they will be moved, and you will move forward into the victory God has prepared for you!"

...in the boy's Heart

The surgeon sat beside the boy's bed; the boy's parents sat across from him. "Tomorrow morning," the surgeon began, "I'll open up your heart..."

"You'll find Jesus there," the boy interrupted.  
The surgeon looked up, annoyed. "I'll cut your heart open," he continued, "to see how much damage has been done..."  

"But when you open up my heart, you'll find Jesus in there." 

The surgeon looked to the parents, who sat quietly. "When I see how much damage has been done, I'll sew your heart and chest back up and I'll plan what to do next."  

"But you'll find Jesus in my heart. The Bible says He lives there. The hymns all say He lives there. You'll find Him in my heart."  

The surgeon had had enough. 
"I'll tell you what I'll find in your heart. I'll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and weakened vessels. And I'll find out if I can make you well."  

"You'll find Jesus there too. He lives there."  
The surgeon left. 

After the surgery, the surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes: "...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration. No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy: painkillers and bed rest. Prognosis:" here he paused, "death within one year."  
He stopped the recorder, but there was more to be said. "Why?" he asked aloud.  
"Why did Thou do this? Thou put him here; Thou has given him this pain; and Thou cursed him to an early death. Why?"  
The Lord answered, "The boy, My lamb, was not meant for your flock for long, for he is a part of My flock, and will forever be here, in My flock, he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you cannot imagine. 
 His parents will one day join him here, and they will know peace, and My flock will continue to grow." 

 The surgeon's tears were hot, but his anger was hotter. "Thou created that boy, and Thou created that heart. He'll be dead in months. Why?"  

The Lord answered, "The boy, my lamb, shall return to my flock, for he has done his duty: I did not put My lamb with your flock to lose him, but to retrieve another lost lamb."  

The surgeon wept. The surgeon sat beside the boy's bed; the boy's parents sat across from him. The boy awoke and whispered, 
"Did you cut open my heart?" "Yes," said the surgeon. "What did you find?" asked the boy.  
"I found Jesus there," said the surgeon.

The kind of Love I want in my life

Nurse: "It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am , when an elderly gentleman, in his 80's, presented to have stitches removed from his thumb.

       He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am . The nurse took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him.
       I saw him looking at his watch. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. Asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning somewhere else, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.
 

       I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease.
       As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. 
       I was surprised, and asked him. "And you are still going every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my hand and said. "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is."
       I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."

The cure for your emptiness

If you can buy it with money, it can't cure that feeling of emptiness.

When that sickening feeling of emptiness fills your heart, only one thing can fix it: Jesus.

Nonbelievers would rather go anywhere than the True Source.

When it comes to curing the feeling of emptiness, all that other stuff drugs, alcohol, parties, promiscuity, exotic vacations, even your career are not solutions. They're just distractions. They take up time and they keep you occupied, but they don't address the root cause.Whether you want to acknowledge it or not, you have a connection to the Divine.The connection you have is that you were created by God. That's why God, and only God, in the form of Jesus Christ, is the answer to your feeling of emptiness.The current Lie is that Jesus is restrictive, that he'll impose all kinds of rules on you to spoil your fun.The exact opposite is true: Jesus Christ will give you the greatest freedom you've ever known. God created that feeling of emptiness in you. He wanted it there. The only thing that can fill it perfectly is God himself. He designed you that way.The more of Jesus you let in, the less of a feeling of emptiness you'll have. Lots of Jesus, little emptiness. No Jesus, lots of emptiness.

Life is a Journey...

Noone seems perfect until you fall in love with them.

Everyday is a new beginning

I lost a toy I gained in my childhood, but I gained the memory of the person who gave me that present.

I lost the privileges and fantasy of being a child, but I gained the opportunity to grow up and live freely.

I lost many people I loved, but I gained their love and the example of their lives

I lost special moments in life because I was crying instead of laughing… but I learned that is giving love how you get love in return.
 

I lost many times and many things in life, but thanks to that

“Losing” today I know the value of winning.

It’s always possible to fight for what we love and there’s always time to start over.

Rest if you must, but don’t give you. It’s always possible and necessary to start again.

Start over, take the opportunity, follow your dreams, keep your faith and your hopes up and believe in you.

Have you gone through hard and sad times? It was time for reflection, meditation, a learning period, for you to grow up.

Did you cry a lot? It was to clean your soul.

Were you rancorous? It was for you to learn how to forgive.

Did you feel lonely? It was because you shot the door.

Did you think all was lost? It was the beginning of your improvement.

If you still feel lonely? Look around and you’ll find many people waiting for your smile to get close to you.

Today is an excellent day to start over. Start a new project in life. Where do you want to go? Who do you want to be?

Look ahead, dream, make your wish, hope for the best of the best and your wish will become true.

If you think small, small things you’ll get. If you think big, big things you’ll get. Be determined, stay positive, follow your dreams, go after what you want, and the best will come to you.

Think of today as the day to clear your mind of all negative thoughts.
 

Leave the past where it belongs… in the past. Don’t let it ruin your present.

Get rid off everything that might hurt you and don’t let you move forward.

The woman

Be very careful in making a Woman to cry... cause God counts her tears!......

The Woman came out from the man’s rib. 

Not from the feet to be stepped on. 

Not from the head to be superior. 

But from your side... to be equal.

Under the arm, to be protected.......

And at the heart’s side, to be Loved.

 

A woman with values and very Worthy

In a brief conversation a man asks a woman:

--What kind of man are you looking for?

-She stays quiet for a moment before looking him in the eyes and replies:

-Do you really want to know?

--He answered: Yes

-She replies:

Being an independent woman of theses times, I’m in the position to ask a man what I can’t do on my own.

I pay all my bills.

I’m in charge of my house with no man’s help.

I’m in the position to ask, what your contribution in my life will be.

--He immediately thought she was referring to money.

-She quickly noted what he had in mind and added: I’m not referring to money.

I need something else.

I need a man that looks for perfection in every aspect of life.

--He looked confused and started wondering what she meant and asked her to explain…

-She replied: I look for someone optimistic, loyal, enthusiastic, modest, kind, with positive attitude, willing to accept his mistakes, learn and improve himself, wishing to have a decent and prosperous life; someone I can have interesting conversations with.

I don’t need someone negative with a simple mind, small thoughts, with no capacity for improvement and unwilling to progress in life.

I need someone that believes in spiritual perfection who I can share my Faith in God with.
I don’t need a man that looks for financial perfection cause I don’t need a financial device.
Someone sensitive enough to understand what I go through in life as a woman, but sufficiently strong to encourage me, cheer me up and never let me down.
I’m looking for someone who respects me and deserves to be respected.
I can’t trust someone who can’t even deal with their own problems. I don’t have a problem with trusting him nor being submissive, kind, and loyal, but he must deserve it.
God made women to help men, but I can’t help someone who can’t help himself.

When she finished expressing her thoughts she looked him in the eyes and seemed even more confused.

--He responded: You are asking for too much.

-She replied: I’m a woman with values and very worthy.

The essential for the heart is invisible to the eyes.

THAT'S GOD...He wants you to talk to Him.

"Have you ever been just sitting there and all of a sudden you feel like doing something nice for someone you care for... 

THAT'S GOD... He talks to you through the Holy Spirit.

"Have you ever been down and out and nobody seems to be around for you to talk to... 

THAT'S GOD...He wants you to talk to Him.

"Have you ever been thinking about somebody that you haven't seen in long time and then next thing you know you see them or receive a phone call from them... 

THAT'S GOD... there is no such thing as 'coincidence.'

"Have you ever received something wonderful that you didn't even ask for, like money in the mail, a debt that had mysteriously been cleared, or a coupon to a department store where you had just seen something you wanted, but couldn't afford... 

THAT'S GOD... He knows the desires of your heart...

"Have you ever been in a situation and you had no clue how it is going to get better, but now you look back on it... 

THAT'S GOD... He passes us through tribulation to see a brighter day...

Never lose the Dignity of being a woman.

Never allow a man to make you his slave nor his toy
You were born to love and be loved.

Never allow your heart to suffer for love. Love is an act of happiness not of sadness. Why suffering?

Never allow your eyes to shed tears for someone that can make you laugh but, chooses not to do it.

Never allow your body to be harmed; be aware that is a house for the Holy Spirit who lives in you and was given to you by God; Take care of your body.

Never let anyone put a price on you because you are simply priceless.

Never stay waiting for someone that will not come; even when he promised…

Never let your name to be pronounced in vain by a man that might not even have a real name.

Never allow your time to be wasted by someone that will never really have time for you.

Never let your ears being yelled;

Words that soak into your ears are whispered…...not yelled. Love is the only one that can talk loud.

Never let a passion to blind you, fool you and take you away from reality to a perfect world that don’t exist.

Never let yourself walk after a man that keeps running away from you.

Never let your dreams to be mixed up with theirs; making yours turn into a nightmare.

Never believe that he will come back when he was never really present.

Never believe his promises when you know he only tells you lies.

Never trust he will change when he hasn’t being loyal.

Never get all dressed and pretty to wait for a man that has no eyes to see you.

Never use your uterus to conceive a baby with someone who will not be a father for your child.

Never let you depend on a man, don’t make yourself think that you are handicapped.

Never allow yourself to be with a man that doesn’t respect you.

Never let the pain, sadness, loneliness, hatred, resentment, jealousy, rancor take the shine of your eyes and your strength away.
